How To Write An Attention Don’t assume you know what they want to read.Many students feel that their lives would be boring to admissions officials, and then feel the need to pump themselves up in the course of the essay. Some exaggerate their commitments to community service because they believe that’s what colleges want to hear. At ScholarMatch, Watson uses freewriting exercises to help students start their essays. One of the most challenging aspects of the essay-writing process is identifying a topic to write about. Colleges will see if you just read the first paragraph of a webpage or if you really looked. When citing a desire to participate in a certain club or program, make sure you can actually participate in it. For example, don’t write about wanting to be part of a program only for grad students; save this for your graduate school application. After all, those using these services already have wealthy parents and are likely to attend high schools with far more resources than the average institution attended by a low-income student.
